Biography

My name is Maisha Palma Ramirez, I am 18 years old and I am from Lima Peru. I’m currently studying psychology at the César Vallejo University. Since I was little I have always liked helping others and that is why I chose to study psychology. I also enjoy researching mental health, emotions, and social problems in my country and in the world. In particular I am interested in addressing racism, sexism, transphobia, and homophobia. I think learning to develop empathy is key, and this is part of my focus.
